STATEMENT OF INTENT
1_Free Swaziland Movement (FSM) is a socio-economic-transformation movement based in the Kingdom of Swaziland whose goal is to deliver prosperity to all the citizens of Swaziland by eradicating all forms of pain and suffering like hunger, poverty ,starvation, political prosecution, political persecution , all forms of oppression and the like.
2_In order to achieve our goals set out in paragraph 1 above there are various options that we will pursue. One such option is to fight to have the Kingdom of Swaziland incorporated into a the Republic of South Africa. The rationale for this option is that we verily believe that Swaziland as a stand alone entity is not sustainable politically nor economically. The statistics clearly show that we, as a country, have been " married" to abject poverty for the past 40(forty) years with no hope for any positive changes in our lifetime.
3_FSM does not harbour any form of hatred nor revenge, neither do we intend to cause any chaos nor havoc in our beloved country. To the contrary our actions are motivated by the extreme love and passion for our country which we desire to see our country being one of the industrial giants like the USA, Japan, Germany, China, South Africa, and more one day. Under the current political and economic climate in Swaziland our dreams will remain an illusion that will be dreamnt of but never achieved.
4_Our modus operandi ( mode of operation) in bringing about the transformation that we desire is that we will abide by the processes that are guaranteed in the National Constitution of Swaziland. This National Constitution guarantees several human rights like, but not limited to inter alia; the freedom of expression; freedom of association; freedom of conscience; freedom of assembly and so on. This constitution expressly recognises that when in need, our country can undertake a referendum to test the views of Emaswati Amahle on issues of national interest. As at July 2026 when this document was adopted FSM strongly believes that a national referendum to decide on the incorporation of the Kingdom of Swaziland into the Republic of South Africa is urgently needed, alternatively is long overdue. This referendum issue then occupies a top priority on our programme. The use any form of violence to achieve our goals is not part of our modus operandi. We desire a peaceful transition of our beloved country.
5_On our path to liberation of Swaziland we will collaborate with like minded persons, entities, organisations, states and the like provided that we will not associate ourselves with no one who perpetrates the use of violence to achieve our goals.Peace , discipline and respect is our non-negotiable culture.
6_In view of the above, we appeal to Emaswati Amahle onke to give unconditional support to our cause. We love you all even those who hate us but we love you as our common blood. The time for change is now or never. Uyavutha umlilo.
